Whatever Happened to...?

I've looked through on some of the stats of some of the State winners and have not seen things about them. In Ja'Warren Hooker's case, of course, you read about his time with the Huskies and a bid for the Olympics - but then I can't find anything else. One of the other things that is interesting is that, especially with sprinters, though they may win State here, they wouldn't have made it to District in Cali or the South, so when they go looking for track scholarships in Division I schools, like PAC-10 even, they may go begging! And without a good GPA, I can only imagine prospects are even bleaker.

Any information about past winners in any event would be great.

hmmm ginnie powell from rainier beach seems to have done quite well for herself and usc and now the pro ranks as a hurdler. she ran a 12.48 last year.
