Prosser rolls Ephrata 55-41 behind Tamara Jones 25 points. A pretty close 1st half before the lady Stangs brought the heat in the 2nd half.
Wapato upset East Valley in the other Semi-Final tonight as well, the score was 49-43!!

Game 1: Ephrata vs. Clarkston - 5pm @ Nicholson Pavillion on the campus of CWU
Game 2: West Valley (Spokane) vs. East Valley (Yakima) - 5pm @ Ellensburg High School

Saturday February 20, 2011 - Regional Finals

Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Wapato - 1pm @ Nicholson Pavillion on the Campus of CWU
Game 4: Winner of Game 2 vs. Prosser - 3pm @ Nicholson Pavillion on the Campus of CWU

Winner of Game 4 is 5/6/7 #1 Seed to State Regional
Winner of Game 3 is 5/6/7 #2 Seed to State Regional
Loser of Game 4 is 5/6/7 #3 Seed to State Regional

Yep, the sad part is that maybe the 3 best teams are all in the same bracket....Ev of Yakima vs Wv of Spokane....and the winner gets Prosser!!
A really good team is taken away!!

Ephrata beat Clarkston and East Valley beat West Valley. Wow, the CWAC takes all four berths, didn't expect that one. Tomorrow it's Ephrata vs Wapato at 1 and Prosser vs East Valley at 3 all games at Central. All four teams play again next weekend up at Cenral as well in the State Regionals.

Ya, I also didn't see that coming either. But works out great for the CWAC teams, then they will all play each other again next weekend!!!

Stangs are regional champs with a rather easy drubbing of East Valley 60-45!! Pretty sure they will see the pesky Devils again next weekend!!

You would hope they don't see the devils again because that would mean they would have lost to Ephrata. If Prosser beats Ephrata they are done playing until the following Thursday in the Sundome.
