Hockinson 45, Aberdeen 43

Hawks barely got past the Bobcats at home 45-43 last night. It was a very slow game, both teams struggled in terms of shooting but also played some solid defense, especially in the second half I thought. 5'10 sophomore guard Jenna Haagen led the Hawks with 15 points, senior forward Ashley Haden finished with 12. The Bobcats limited 6'1 senior post Amanda McCarty to just 9 points, I'll give them credit there. Other girls stepped up though when it came down to crunch time. The sophomore Haagen played her best ball yet. She's the third Haagen sister to come through the program. Good job to both teams.
