Yeah, Tyler Culp is a big part of the meridian relays... but, if for some reason he can’t run (which may be a possibility but doubtful) meridian would still make it to the state meet and place in the top 8. They are ranked 1st in state for a reason, and just because 1 runner might be gone doesn’t mean that the other 3 guys are hopeless... right now they have 2 guys that will more that likely break 52 or 51 this year, and a guy that is running mid 52's. Add in a 54 runner and you have a pretty good state team. Meridian is a solid team with solid back up runners... there going to state no problem. 4x1 is solid too, with two new runners (a jr. and a sr.) that have some speed. If culp is gone for this relay they might be in trouble.
