What a great teamate

I had the pleasure of watching Cascade Chriatian play Cashmere last night. On a perfect night for football at sunset chev stadium these 2 teams absolutely went at it. Big hit after big hit by both teams. On cashmeres 2nd possesion their starting FB/MLB and last years defensive player of the year went out with a dislocated elbow (ouch). I watched a player (Casey Ruether #5) move from his SS spot to MLB and from his starting QB position to FB for the better of the team. He played his heart out. In this modern day of players and they're "look at me, look at me" attitudes it was refreshing and moving to see this kid be a great teamate and put his team first to try and win a game. Way to go Casey!!

Agree -- the kid played his heart out. Every play he seemed to be either carrying the ball or making the tackle. He will have a great year.
