the executive committee will let you do anything you want with the state tournament but go back to the old format. what would you do? please good ideas. no rants.

> Get ride of district tournaments. Allocations will awarded by league numbers.

> Expand regionals to 32 teams (16 per region)

> Set up two regionals which are set by and adjusted by geography and league allocation numbers. Regionals then become in essence super district/cross overs. This will allow easier adjustments with any population shifts and keep boys and girls teams playing at the same regional.

> Regionals should be held at a centralized non-high school facility but not the same facility as that classification's finals. For example: CWU & PSU for 1A.

> Regionals will be formatted so the regional championship game determines the 1 & 2 seed; the semifinal consolation game decides the #3 seed. The 4 seed is decided between the loser of the semifinal consolation game and the winner of that region’s losers' bracket in a play in game round on the day before the finals start at a HS facility that can accommodate those games close to where the finals will be held. For example, the 1A & 2A play in games could be held at one of the Yakima HSs, for the Bs at one of the Spokane HSs.

> At finals 1s are matched against 4s and 2s against 3s. Frist round single elimination with 4 placings awarded.
