The Cardinals came out and played a great game, although it took a few plays for the young guys to get their feet wet. Overall a great game with no dominant play from anyone, but good play from everyone. A real team victory for the men in Red & Black!
The Cards will be tested next week, when Waitsburg hosts the Rockets from Pilot Rock for the 1st time in school history. The Rockets are coming off a dominating victory over Umatilla and this should be a very good game.
