Zillah beat Granger 45-39 (?). Granger girls led entire first half. Zillah took a 4 point lead into the 4th and maintained it throughout. Alisi Uasike had a career night (pretty sure). Maybe close to 30 points, at least it seemed. Couple of big 3's for Michelle Tynan in the 4th quarter. Granger was 19-0 coming in, just in case you just crawled out from under your rock. Great game.

Wow, that is a big win for ZHS. They are the hot team heading into districts, although Granger is still the big favorite. These two have a great rivalry.

Also congrats to Mabton, who beat Naches tonight to make districts. Not trying to offend anyone from Naches....but what the heck happened this season? There is no way a team with that much talent should miss districts.

Good luck to Granger, Zillah, Goldendale and Mabton.

Alisi was on top of her game tonight. She dominated When she had the ball. Nice job by coach Winters and her staff. These girls were green when this season started. After going 3-3 first time thru league play they went6-0 the second time thru.

A couple tidbits from today's paper. Zillah freshman Caitlin Myers averaged 6.1 over the first ten games and 14.0 over the next nine. Uasike appears to have won the SCAC West scoring title by outscoring Sam Zapien 17-7 last night.
