Let's forget about all the insults of the players and thier towns. Let's get straight to talent. I think Omak will win state this year, but they are going to have to play really well against Cashmere, Quincy, and Medical Lake. Each of these teams have a lot of talent and are capable of winning state, and Stan Ovenell is the best doubles player in the league. Some smack it hard and others mix in the lob. Who cares how they win, the best part about tennis is adjusting to the game of your opponent. If you are getting beat by the lob, you need to adjust to win. I like to believe that everyone is out there playing it straight and I hope that this happens this year from subs to state. I think it is fun to have some bad blood in a rivalry. I will definetly be watching these four teams to see who will come out on top.
As far as singles, I think a healthy Floyd will win it this year. McGuffin is good, but Floyd will pound his backhand. As far as my knowledge goes, after those two it is wide open. Does anyone know of anyone else who could push Floyd or Mcguffin?
