Despite losing talented forward Stephen Madison to Jefferson of Portland, guard Nick Weidenaar to Portland Christian, and guard Austin Candanoza to Union all in the offseason, the Falcons had a strong showing. 6'6 Senior post Adam Herman had 25, and junior guard TJ Williams had 17 as the Falcons defeated the Evergreen Plainsmen in the first non-league game of the season. Big story for Evergreen was 6'8 sophomore Caleb Dressler. His debut game and he gets 28 points, 20 rebounds. What a game for the young post. The lead bounced back and forth all game, but the Falcons came out on top. TJ Williams drained two free throws to put the Falcons up by 4 and the Evergreen hit a shot at the buzzer but Prairie was still victorious by 2.
