The SCAC has 14 teams divided into to leagues: East and West

The East is by far the stronger of the two. Could get all the seeds to state again (4)

Connell - Returns bulk of talent fron last years team. Strong pitching and big bats in the line up.

Warden - Returns strong pitching and most of their lineup.

Riverview - Everyones back - decent pitching and good bats

Royal - Tradition, decent pitching, and okay bats

Ki-Be- lost a lot, new coach, some good athletes

Burbank - improving, might split with upper teams

Wahluke - young and inexperienced

WEST

Naches: good team in a bad league, decent pitching

Zillah - tradition - lots of athletes, hard to tell

Cle Elum - traditon - some good athletes, hit and miss pitching/hitting

Goldendale - strong athletes, questionable pitching/hitting

Mabton/Granger - Basketball players - Young and inexperienced

Riverview has a freshman that will put up some big numbers this year. You can take that to the bank.

Zillah also has a freshman pitcher who may do pretty good.

Ki-Be might struggle

Are you talking about Lexie's sister(HESS) (RV)? She is pretty good, but I don't think she will take big sis's pitching spot.

yeah that is her. She may not take her sister's spot but she has a good glove and can hit and will be an important part of Riverview's success

I believe Zillah swept RV the other day. Freshman Robillard pitched a shutout in the opener. She stands about 5'2" and weighs probably 100 pounds. The second game was pitched by soph Kelsey Salverda who is about 6'0" and a big gal. What a contrast.

According to the paper, Zillah swept Burbank. It was 2-1 and 11-2 or close to it. Robillard will get his daughter ready quickly. Zillah might run away with that side of the league. Naches just got swept by a good SSC team.
