How do you figure the #4 team from the ctl/nea to place 5th at state? How's that?

Ctl/Nea is a tough regional. They have a fairly decent draw. I see them losing to BC, winning against Rainier on Thursday and Friday winning a close one to Zillah which could go either way and then beating Toledo on trophy day.

Problem is you have no upsets. And I see Bellevue Christian upsetting Lynden Christian. They made their statement last week with a one point loss to Seattle Christian. Anything can happen

I found it interesting when taking each game individually my thought was "given the right circumstances, it could happen", but then when you list them out 1-8, it kind of looks crazy.

You don't need much depth in the girls game..you just need a couple studs and LC has that. Oh and a Hall of Fame coach.

Connell has kind of upset this whole thing. Good job Eags.

Yes they have, but Colby has them playing well. Maybe not the most skilled basketball players, but he has some athletes and they get after it. The do a great job playing D and getting those boards.

So Granger vs. Connell round three. Granger by 1 in the first one (no Klarich) after being up by a bunch heading into the fourth. Connell hung around for a little while in the second contest before the Spartans pulled away? Will the Spartan experience be the difference? Will the Eagles youth and energy continue to lead them? Will the old saying "hard to beat a team three times in the same year" come into account? Should be a good one.

As far as LC and Freeman go, can't comment too much as I don't know alot. Ranked high in AP all season. Traditionally great BB schools. Should also be a good one. May need to travel to Yak tonight. Get me a miners burger then head to the dome for a couple of great games.

In the girls game you need more depth than the boys. 4 days in a row takes quite a toll on the body. Not arguing about the Hall of Fame coach, but Curt will tell you that the last 2 days are tough if your "studs" legs are weak.
