Really is very sad, the story about Melissa Williams. She really was their big gun and this is her senior year....

Heather Corral finished with 17 points, Angela Gelhar had 13.

5'4 sophomore Kendra Preuninger and 5'9 junior Tatum Schroeder each had 10 points for the Papermakers.

As Camas found out, it is a lot harder to win when you are missing a key player. It's also easier to beat Prairie without a few key players ala last year. I had a knee injury just out of high school and it really changed my athletic life. Before the injury, I was small but very quick. Afterwards, I was just small. There were no magic surgeries back then. The good news for Melissa Williams is she will recover and go on to have a nice college career. Good luck to her.
